We Tried Patching It.

The old system is a patchwork of confusing rules, surprise bills, and gaps you can fall through. We didn't just add another patch. We rebuilt the foundation.

Universal Floor

Everyone is covered. Coverage follows the person, not the job. No deductibles for essential care. No networks to check.

Economics

Fair Financing

We replace premiums with dedicated contributions: 8% employer payroll, and a 3.5% personal contribution on Modified Adjusted Gross Income, collected mostly by wage withholding with annual reconciliation, plus a personal high-income surtax up to an 8% marginal rate above 500,000 dollars. Social Security, VA benefits, and up to 100,000 dollars of retirement distributions are excluded, the small-business 199A deduction is preserved, the Medicare HI payroll tax is replaced, and the Net Investment Income Tax is repealed on the main implementation date. No deductibles. Copays are modest and capped.

Tuition Caps + Service Grants

Tuition caps, grants, and service scholarships to rebuild the workforce. Schools are held harmless through support payments tied to outcomes. Clinicians should not start with $300k in debt.
